A few days later things changed. After having had several days with warm and sunny weather, the clouds came in and gave several showers. Now it was time for a lycra come-back, as it was now too cold to continue trekking in shorts. Now I discovered another advantage of my lycra tights: the nylon didn't absorb the water. Although my tights got soaking wet when it was raining, the water just seemed to drip off just as fast, and not long after the rain had ceased, I was no more damp than if I had put my raingear on.
