The next three weeks I spent in Switzerland, the Zermatt area. It was now time to take my lycra gear to the ultimate test. So far I had not worn my tights higher than 3247m, but together with my climbing mate and his girlfriend we stayed six nights in a camp at 4355m and climbing mountains even higher. And although my lycra tights were too warm to wear at a more moderate altitude in Austria, here on this trip they were too cold, and they stayed in my rucksack for as long as we stayed in the high mountains. But camping at Riffelsee on the way down, it was time to flash my tights to my mate.
