Grifone

The following summer of 1986, I started my vacation with a twelve day's hike along the Geigenkamm ridge in the Ötztaler Alps in Austria. I had tried to carry out this hike in September two years before, but had been forced back because of too much snow. This time it was July, and this solo trip would be the right place to test, if my idea of lycra tights as the perfect clothing for hiking in the mountains was right.
