Towards the end of the hike, I had to stay over two more nights, as the next stage involved the crossing of three glaciers. And one thing is the risky business of crossing a glacier alone, another is doing it at almost no visibility, with the risk of losing my way. And with the clouds covering the mountains higher up, I could do nothing but awaiting a weather improvement and keep myself comfy in my tent. And patience pays, as the clouds finally lifted and I was able to finish the hike three days later.
