For many years I had used one of my many pairs of Converse sneakers as footwear for not just daily use, and during these many years I had learned that they could be used in a wide variety of terrain, from rough rocky mountains to icy glaciers. So the choice was obvious: I should wear a pair of Converses for this walk, and chose to wear my Lavender Converses.
