This three days' Track and Field event was coming to an end, and as always the last race was a relay race: the men's 4x400m relay. And in the third heat there were two runners now well-known to me: Fitzgerald and Trent running the third and fourth leg, and thus helping their team to become the fastest of them all. And knowing that the two other guys, Christopher Coates from USA and silver winner in the 30-34 age group, plus Marcus Skeete from Spain and gold winner in the 40-44 age group, their fast time of 3:47,66 came as no surprise.
