Right after the medal ceremony the competitions commenced with the men's 100m finals, and although the 100 metres is not his final discipline, Fitzgerald managed to win the race in a time of 11,86 seconds. And I must admit, that feeling the happiness radiating from these boys hugging each others at the finish line made my eyes wet.
