The surgeon had proposed to have it done the previous December, but knowing that such prosthesis is rather sensible to cold we agreed that I should have it done coming March instead. Which later showed to be a good idea, as that December we had the second wave of the covid-19 virus and plenty of orthopaedic surgeries all over the country were cancelled.
