Turquoise accent

The temperature was not below the freezing point, but still it had been cold to run on the outer beach, as there was a stiff breeze coming in from the sea. But now I was close to finish crossing the lagoon back to the main island, and once I was there, behind the low dam, I could find shelter from the wind.
