Turquoise accent

This was the situation in February 2021. December and January had been pretty mild and very dark, but entering February we had a spell of icy cold weather, brought here by a disturbance of the jetstream. Towards the end of this icy spell we one evening had clearing skies and as the temperature was still low, we the next morning could wake up to a layer of fresh snow on top of the now frozen water.
