Besides my teal capri tights I had decided to run in my black Patagonia silkweight capilene shirt, one of my favorite shirts for summer in the mountains. Although there are 14 pit-stops with water along the route, I ran with my small Camelbak, in an attempt to be sufficient hydrated all the time. A handful of GU, some salt tablets and an ultralight Tyvek windbreaker, and I was ready for the mountain.
