In former days, back in the 80'ies, I every summer had gone on a long hike in the north of Sweden, and now, almost twenty years later, I had taken this idea up again. Thus I travelled by train and bus to Sälen in Dalarna, to make a traverse across the Sälenfjällen and Fulufjället highlands.
