It came a surprise to me that the shirt appeared to be almost transparent when wet, but in my eyes this is no disadvantage at all. As a rash guard shirt, it does have a lot of sun protection, quite a good thing at seaside, so sure I would consider wearing it on a day with blazing sun, maybe even taking it for a mountain climb in desert-like surroundings.
