But coming down to the lake I estimated that the water would be a tad too cold for me. Sure it would be nice warm in the shallow water near the bank, where the sun had shone all day, but I was sure that it would be colder just a little further down. There was probably a reason why the tadpoles only gathered near the bank and not further out. So I waited with my shower till we were back in his summer house.
