I finished the 10000m race as 8th out of 10 in my age group, and crossing the finish line for the 25th and last time I was fully soaked, not so much from sweat but from the rain. Luckily the rain had ceased five minutes earlier, yet still my Trisuit was clinging to my body, revealing every curve and bulge. But I felt happy being here, with all the spectators applauding me down the finishing straight. And later I was told that I had been the best dressed athlete in the stadium that day!
