The last day of the event broke, and Kien was in for four individual competitions, beginning the day with the Long Jump, where once again he finished 4th with a jump of 4,93m. In the 400m finals he improved his time from 59,09s in the preliminaries to 57,70 in the finals, but still it wasn't good enough for metal, as once again he finished 4th. Finally, in the 100m finals, he did win another bronze when running the 100m in 14,43s.
