Ron Hill Fire

Having passed through the lower valley we started to climb up to Reintalangerhütte, the first official mountain hut in the valley. This hut had not really opened yet, and still the approach was made a bit complicated from several avalanche cones blocking the path. But it wasn't the first time I had been crossing snowfields in my good ol' Converse Chucks, and the cold radiating from the snow was just what I needed to cool me down.
