Returning to the hut, we soon began descending into the valley. With Wazespitze outside the limits because of stonefall danger there was not much more to climb from the hut, so we descended for an afternoon in the valley. I knew there was a cosy guesthouse in the bottom of the valley, which could be a good location for celebrating my 150th mountain.
