While the full front half of the shorts is double-lined, the rear half is just one single layer of smooth lycra fabric. Already from the first time I was wearing them, I had a feeling that these shorts are not made from standard nylon/lycra fabric, but from polyester, making them very smooth to the touch, and very inviting to examining hands.
