As I had now worn them for more than ten years they had to go through my compulsory check if they were still usable for future activity and had not lost their suppleness through the many years of negligence. But this was March 2022 and thus too cold to wear them in the outdoors at the moment, not to mention wearing them on a hike in the Caucasian mountains again.
