V4m

These V4m tights have been on only two more mountain trips in the meantime. They followed me on my 1997 Makalu expedition, but while on the walk-out I slipped and feel down an icy ridge and cut a hole in all the four pair of pants I was wearing, including these tights and my knee as well. In May 1999 they joined me on a short ski trip to Gasenried in Switzerland. With the stirrup they should be perfect for snow conditions, preventing the snow from building up inside, but on this trip the snow was too soft, and I was glad I had brought my gaiters as well.
