But I liked this initial part of the route, and nowadays I started the same way, directly to the Furesø Lake. But then I only followed the bank to the next inlet and then headed back towards the train station. This way I could do most of my run in the parkland, as I later had discovered a parallel path through the park, which led me back to the station.
