After my 2013 stroke I had been forced to cut down on my running and also do this in a slower speed, but it was only after my 2019 and 2021 surgeries I had to stop running completely. To help my knees recovering I was adviced by the physio to do some walking as soon as it was possible within the pain threshold. And as I from my running days knew a lot of routes I could walk I had plenty to choose from.
