I went to an orthopaedist who recommended me to have an ostheoropie made to make my legs live longer before a surgery would be needed - but I was sent to a specialist in a hospital to make the final decision. And it didn't take him many seconds to decide that my knees already were too worn, so the only thing that would help would be to have a prosthesis on both knees!
