In former days, back in the 80'ies, I every summer had gone on a long hike in the north of Sweden, and now, almost twenty years later, I had considered taking up this idea again. So in September 2009 I went on a hike from Sälen in Central Sweden, traversing the Sälenfjällen and Fulufjället highlands.
