I had noticed, that when I as usual was wearing my no-show socks for these runs it had felt pretty cold around my ankles because of the line of unprotected skin between the socks and the tights in this winter season. But with ballet tights there would be no unprotected skin, and also I liked the total cover of my legs and feet.
