I had now been away for half an hour, but slowly it dawned on me that it was November and actually quite chilly in just my shorts and my short-sleeved shirt, even though the shorts were double layered. I could hear my sleeping bag calling for me, so it was time to get back to the shelter and get cosy in the warm bag.
