In June 2013 I was struck by a blood clot, which sent me to the hospital bed for six weeks, increasing my weight and decreasing my level of fitness. But I had to get reasonably fit again, as I was invited for another marathon in summer of 2014, so even how little running I was able to do, I better had to go on with it!
