In Laidley my friend Paul was living in a big Queenslander house on a large plot of land maybe ten kms outside the village. When I visited him the first time two years earlier we spent maybe four hours to find the exact perimeter of his 31 acre plot, which was a bit challenging as the area surrounding his house was mostly heavily forested bushland.
