Pedro was living in Mayagüez on the western shoreline of Puerto Rico, and right outside his village there was a fruit shop in a tent along the highway selling fresh bananas, coconuts and much other fresh produce. I had never tasted fresh coconut milk before, so it was quite an experience to find out that this was real and not just some comics story.
