I did not have much experience with Under Armour Cold Gear, and didn't find it exceptional warm. But the shirt was thicker than my usual Heat Gear shirts, and as such offering more protection against the wind. There wasn't much wind that day, but as always it was nice to wear a new piece of Under Armour gear.
