This race was taking place in September 2012, and we had come to Sydney for the weekend, although we had spent five days to get from Queensland to Sydney. In the early morning hours we had taken the local train to North Sydney, from where the start was to take place, beginning with crossing the harbour on Sydney's famous Harbour Bridge.
