Actually these Black Pleather shorts should not be so potentially shiny as they were. For it was my impression that pleather should be some kind of artificial leather and therefore not particular shiny. But often I had seen that the term 'pleather' also was used on standard nylon lycra fabric, although there was no tag in these shorts to tell me what they were made of.
