Long time passed, and I was now seriously doubting that I could wear these Mistral shorts again. I had not worn them for seventeen years, and the moment I tried to pull them up my legs I heard that tell-tale scrunching sound telling me, that these shorts now had been overstretched. But upon closer inspection I found, that the lace, which was embedded in the waistband, was still intact and could take care of the necessary work, I hoped.
