Naturally we didn't have to walk all the ten hours, as we could just walk as far as we wanted, and then return back. The first part of the hike was leading through a tunnel along the inside of the cliff, yet quite close to the outer rockface. At long intervals there were exits to the river, but most of the way we were walking in the pitch black tunnel with only the light of our headlamps.
