It was now almost three years since I had been running in Dyrehaven, the nearest wood to the place I lived, but previously I several times had run the marathon, and the shirt I was wearing was from the Sydney Marathon, which I had run in 2012. But I had been forced to stop my running because of the two knee surgeries I had gone through in 2019 and 2021 because of my knock-knees. And now I slowly was working on my return to running again.
