I liked the nicely scooped pouch at the front, a pouch which could not have been there if there had been a fly instead. These shorts are not the first shorts I have had with a pouch, but most often these pouches are too big, with the result that the pouch is hanging down unfilled. This pouch fits me much better, so it would be a pity to hide it as some kind of underwear.
