Earlier in the day I had been hiking through the Redwood forests, and in the late afternoon I hit Highway One going south. I stopped at MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, pitching my tent at the campsite there. Then I changed into my Coated shorts and set off for a walk along the coastline.
