During the first part of the hike there were no huts or shelters to seek refuge in, but weather was so nice that there was no problem in just bivouacing in the woods. Sure this rendered me more exposed to the mosquitoes, but when lying down to sleep I just had to close the bivvy bag fully. And when getting up a bit sweaty in the morning it was nice begin the day with a cool gentle walk in the woods before breakfast. |
