After my visit to Seminole Canyon I crossed the Pecos River and continued west. Soon I arrived at Langtry, former home of barkeeper and Justice of the Peace Roy Bean. More than a hundred years ago he was the Law west of Pecos, and today his original saloon has been preserved for the future. Naturally I had to visit this part of the Texan history.
