Even though these tights were close to 25 years old they didn't show much use of the much wear they have had and still fitted me perfectly. Only the elastic waistband had partly lost its springiness, but this should be rather easy to mend by exchanging the waistband. Maybe as a gift for the following year's anniversary, so they can be ready for another 25 years!
