So far I had only worn my tights outside when climbing or in the mountains, and right from the beginning I had been impressed by the flexibilty and the freedom of movements such pants could give me. And now it was time to go one step further, to cross-country skiing. Here the need of unrestricted movements is essential, and if the top skiers are running in lycra gear there might be a reason for it.
