When I returned home I tried to calculate the length of the route I just had run, and found out that it had been only about 2 km long, compared to the 5.5 km which was the length of my usual circuit in that wood. If I had continued the way I initially had planned it probably could have been a bit further than 4 km, but apparently this was not the case.
