We had hoped to climb both summits, but a recent rockfall from Vorder Jamspitze plus an unknown descent through loose terrain made us step back and concentrate on the Hinter Jamspitze only. This 3156m high summit was of more moderate angle and the chance of rockfall was low. But the view south across Switzerland was the same, if not better.
