6:36 pm. The hike on Finnskogsleden continued along the frontier to Norway, and on the way I passed by one of the large cairns marking the frontier line. It was a bit peculiar to see this boundary stone in the middle of this wilderness, but the frontier between these two countries have been open for centuries.
