It is often seen, that the interest in rockclimbing gradually change to mountaineering when you grow older, and I may say I am one of those, always having regarded myself a mountaineer more than a rockclimber. And probably it was the freedom in the mountains that finally induced me to wear lycra also when rockclimbing.
