After four hours trying to find the way we finally reached the proper trail again at Cwm Mawr. So far we had been fairly lucky with the weather, but here a small sleet shower was waiting for us. We had lost maybe three hours with this diversion, so we were now not able to follow the trail all the way to Bwlch, but had to cut the last part of the trail, taking a taxi back from Cwm-du.
