Using his summer house as a starting point I could easily start running in my beloved lycra gear, which is more difficult at home where I have to take the local commuter train to a nearby wood to get to a place where I can run. For to spare my legs for the heavy pounding on the asphalted roads I try to do all my runs on gravel or dirt roads.
