Much too soon the race was over. Coming onto Great Highway along the coast, running next to the dunes and hear the Pacific waves crashing onto the beach after having traveled for thousands of kilometres was an amazing experience. I felt I could have been running down this highway for hours, but was not allowed to, the finish line being just up ahead.
