I had arrived one Friday evening, having the whole weekend to explore the city. On Saturday I had planned to meet up with a guy from Edgewater in northern Chicago, but although I had come all this way across the Atlantic we never met up. Chicago is an enormous city, and when first time I flew in to Chicago at nighttime I was overwhelmed by the sight of the cityscape all over and the endless highways stretching alle the way to the horizon and beyond.
